Wampirvs  Sinistrvs  are  a  music  project  from  parts  unknown  that  plays  a  very  raw,  old  school  and  vampyric  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2020  ep  "Blood  Of  The  Vampyre"  which  will  be  released  in  August  by  Harvest  Of  Death.

  Distorted  noises  start  off  the  ep  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  musical  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  while  the  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  done  in  a  very  dark  yet  melodic  style.

  Most  of  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  style  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  Melodies  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  the  songs  also  adding  in  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  one  of  the  tracks  is  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length

  Wampirvs  Sinistrvs  plays  a  style  of  vampyric  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  old  school  in  the  90's  tradition,  The  production  sounds  very  dark,  raw  and  lo-fi  sounding  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness,  decay  and  vampirism  themes.

  Aleynmord  are  a  duo  from  Portland,  Oregon  that  plays  an  atmospheric  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their 2020  album  "The  Blinding  Light"  which  will  be  released  in August  by  AOP  Records.

  Nature  sounds  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  Americana  and  folk  music  elements  also  being  utilized  quite  a  bit  throughout  the  recording.  ?Vocals  are  mostly  tortured  black  metal  screams  that  takes  the  music  into  a  heavier  direction  and  the  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.

  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  and  tremolo  picking  can  be  heard  which  also  give  the  songs  more  of  a  raw  feeling.  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  all  of  the  tracks  are  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

  Acoustic  guitars  can  also  be  heard  in  some  parts  of  the  recording  along  with  the  percussion  giving  the  music  more  of  a  tribal  feeling  when  they  are  utilized.  Clean  singing  can  also  be  heard  in  some  parts  of  the  recording  as  well  as  the  music  also  having  its  atmospheric  moments,  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  and  as  the  album  progresses  an  instrumental  can  also  be  heard.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  isolation  and  wilderness  themes. 

  In  my  opinion  Aleynmord  are  a  very  great  sounding  folk  influenced  atmospheric  black  metal  duo  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Wounded  Monolith"  and  "Poetry  Of  Marror  And  Rot".  8  out  of  10.

  Spoken  word  parts  start  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  raw  musical  direction  which  also  uses  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats.  Vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  along  with  all  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  having  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  The  riffs  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  melody  while  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  Swedish  style.  Most  of  the  tracks  are  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  along  with  some  clean  playing  also  being  added  into  certain  sections  of  the  recording  as  well  as  the  vocals  also  having  their  deep  moments.

  This  is  a  review  of  a  compilation  from  Nailed  Nazarene  Industries  called  "The  World  Of  Lies"  which  consists  of  black  metal  bands  from  different  parts  of  the  world  and  we  will  review  the  tracks  one  by  one.

 Xathrites (Iraq) "No Longer Me".

  The  song  starts  our  with  some  drum  beats  and  dark  yet  heavy  riffing  along  with  some  high  pitched  depressive  black  metal  screams  a  few  seconds  later.  At  times  the  music  also  gets  very  atmospheric  sounding  along  with  some  melodies  also  being  utilized  at  times,  clean  singing  can  also  be  heard  briefly  as  well  as  the  song  being  long  and  epic  in length  and  there  is  also  a  brief  use  of  stringed  instruments.  The  track  also  always  sticks  to  a  slower  direction  and  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.

  Destined  To  Suffer  (Australia)  "I'm  So  Cold  When  I  Am  Alone".

  Nature  sounds  and  whispers  start  off  the  track  before  going  into  more  of  a  heavier  and  atmospheric  musical  direction.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  along  with  some  clean  playing  being  utilized  at  times,  the  song  is  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  always  sticks  to  a  slower  musical  direction.

  Agvares  (Russia)  "Clamor  Aeternam".

  Spoken  word  parts  starts  off  the  track  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction  while  the  vocals  are  high  pitched  depressive  black  metal  screams.  The  riffs  also  add  in  a  great  amount  of  melody  along  with  the  faster  sections  of  the  song  also  adding  in  some  blast  beats  as  well  as  the  solos  and  leads  also  being  done  in  a  very  melodic  style 

  The Kingdom  Of  Peace  (Poland)  "World  Terror".

  The  song  starts  off  with  some  programmed  beats  before  going  into  a  heaver  direction.  Spoken  words  are  also  used  briefly  along  with  the  slower  sections  of  the  song  also  bringing  in  elements  of  doom  metal.   Blast  beats  can  also  be  heard  when  the  music  speeds  up  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  deep  yet  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams.

  "My  Truth".

  Tragic  sounding  keyboards  start  off  the  song    while  the  track  is  also  an  instrumental  which  also  adds  in  some  elements  of  dark  ambient,  acoustic  guitars  can  also  be  heard  briefly.

  Empty  Inside  (Brazil)  "A  minha  libertacao,  o  meu  descanso".

  Clean  playing  starts  off  the  song  along  with  some  drum  beats  a  few  seconds  later  which  also  takes  the  track  into  a  heavier  direction.  Vocals  are  mostly  grim  yet  high  pitched  depressive  black  metal  screams  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  decent  amount  of  blast  beats  can  also  be  heard  and  when  tremolo  picking  is  utilized  it  also  gives  the  song  more  of  a  raw  feeling

  Depersonalization  (Hungary)  "Cigarettes  After  Cigarettes".

    Clean  playing  starts  off  the  track  along  with  some  drum  beats  a  few  seconds  later  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  yet  atmospheric  sounding.  The  track  is  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length  as  well  as  being  an  instrumental  and  also  always  sticking  to  a  slower  musical  direction.

  "Thoughts"

  Melodic  guitar  leads  and  acoustic  guitars  start  off  the  song  along  with  the  track  also  being  an  instrumental.  The  music  is  also  mostly  rooted  in  the  post  and  atmospheric  forms  of  black  metal  and  also  sticks  mostly  to  a  slower  musical  direction.

  Hellhole  (Australia)  "Death  Earth".

  Programmed  drum  beats  start  off  the  track  along  with  some  heavy  riffing  a  few  seconds  later.  Vocals  are  mostly  grim  yet  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  song  also  gets  very  atmospheric  sounding  at  times  as  well  as  the  guitar  solos  and  leads  also  being  done  in  a  very  melodic  style.

  In  conclusion  I  feel  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  I  would  recommend  it  to  all  fans  of  atmospheric,  depressive,  post  black  metal  and  blackened  doom  metal.  8  out  of  10.

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  whispered  vocals  can  also  be  heard  briefly.  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  along  with  the  music  also  adding  in  a  great  amount  of  Swedish  influences.

  One  track  also  introduces  clean  playing  onto  the  recording  along  with  the  vocals  also  getting  deep  sounding  at  times  as  well  as  the  riffs  also  adding  in  a  great  amount  of  melody,  some  of  tracks  also  adds  in  a  some spoken  word  parts  and  there  is  also  a  brief  use  of  demonic  growls  on  a  couple  of  songs.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness  themes.
